Cornell Highlights Equity for Queers in Radiology (CHEQueR) is an employee resource, networking, and mentorship group for queers— people whose sexual orientation is not heterosexual and/or whose gender identity is not cisgender— as well as their allies— people who are actively supportive of LGBTQIA+ people. In general, Cornell Highlights Equity for Queers in Radiology (CHEQueR) provides a safe, affirming, and empowering space where LGBTQIA+ employees, along with allies, can connect, share experiences, and support one another. All members of the department, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, are encouraged to get involved and show support, foster acceptance, celebrate diversity, and advocate for positive change.
