Welcome to New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medicine Integrated Interventional Radiology Residency! We offer a categorical program with a one year surgical internship followed by a 5 year integrated residency program. Residents start their PGY-1 year in the Department of Surgery at NYPH-Weill Cornell campus before transitioning into our integrated residency program for their PGY 2 year. The first 3 years of training consist of Diagnostic Radiology core rotations, including one month in IR. The PGY-5 year focuses on IR with SICU, hepatobiliary and vascular surgery rotations as well as rotations with our partner institution, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. The last year of residency is devoted entirely to Interventional Radiology training and includes rotations at our outpatient vein treatment center and elective time.
We are excited to share with you the amazing training opportunities that our program offers!
