We are committed to developing and promoting a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the department. We look to our team of physicians, trainees, nurses, administrators, and the many other members of our department as we work to nurture a welcoming and supportive environment. To do so, we continue to establish and sustain strategies and initiatives that advance belonging for everyone across the department.
We are not limited to the diversity initiatives listed below. As emerging initiatives arise, we will include them here periodically. If any member of our department would like to launch a DEI initiative, we advise them to contact the Office of the Vice-Chair in DEI to help support and guide their efforts as well as gain recognition for their meaningful and impactful work.
