Where are you from? I was born and raised in Palos Verdes, a beautiful suburb of Los Angeles.
What do you love most about living in NYC? The diversity of food options around the city is absolutely incredible, and after four years here I still feel like I've barely scratched the surface.
What drew you to Cornell Radiology? The culture of Cornell Radiology is definitely its greatest asset. IR residency is necessarily rigorous, but Cornell is unique in its focus on maximizing the educational value of our experience and prioritizing a healthy balance of hard work and personal wellness.
What are some of your favorite hobbies outside of work? Photography has been one of my biggest hobbies since long before I became interested in medical imaging. Lately, I've been spending more of my free time baking, as well as sampling restaurants/bars around the city and traveling whenever possible!
Do you have any kids/pets? Clementine is my adorable 8 year old Chiweenie. I always wanted a dog as a kid, so adopting my first during residency was a dream come true.
Dream vacation? Too many to have just one! Recent travel highlights include sampling wines along the Douro River in Portugal, road tripping through the Wild Atlantic Way in Ireland, and going on safaris through four countries in southern Africa.
Go-to Karaoke song? No one wants to hear me sing, but my ED reading room playlist is mostly high-energy Top 40 with a healthy dose of Taylor Swift.
Favorite radiology sign? No particular favorite, but the first that come to mind are the Scottie dog sign and the Oreo cookie sign - though they may not have much to do with radiology.
