Yi Wang, Ph.D., and Gloria Chiang, M.D., Awarded $4 Million NIH Grant for "Quantitative MRI-based cerebral oxygen metabolism in Alzheimer’s disease"

Congratulations to Yi Wang, Ph.D., of the MRI Research Institute and Gloria Chiang, M.D., of the Brain Health Imaging Institute, for their $4 million NIH grant: “Quantitative MRI-based cerebral oxygen metabolism in Alzheimer’s disease.” This project will develop and validate a noninvasive MRI technique to diagnose and monitor alterations in cerebral oxygen metabolism across normal aging and Alzheimer's disease.
