Where are you from?

Long Beach, California

What do you love most about living in NYC?

Never a dull moment out here. What other city runs on pure dream logic?

What drew you to Cornell Radiology?

The big-heartedness of the department. I’ve been fortunate to have gotten to know the department since I was a first-year medical student at Cornell, and the culture of mentorship I’ve experienced has never wavered one bit since. The attendings are some of the brightest in their specialties (with some even having invented certain devices and imaging sequences we almost take for granted today), and they truly have your back when it comes to your professional and personal growth. Not to mention, the residents here are also some of the kindest individuals who make coming to work absolutely worth looking forward to.

What are some of your favorite hobbies outside of work?

Scoping out the best cheap eats, taking photos of NYC (#vsco), playing the guitar, watching horror films with my girlfriend, Michelle, analyzing video essays about the Kendrick vs. Drake beef.

Do you have any kids/pets?

Nope, but I get to take care of Michelle’s dog, Meeko. :)

Dream vacation?

A month-long stay in Coron, Palawan, eating all the grilled fish I want.

Go-to Karaoke song?

"Waterfalls" by TLC

Favorite radiology sign?

Cheerio sign, simple and sweet
