Message From Our Chief Residents

Welcome to the NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Radiology residency in the heart of New York City! We train at three world-class hospitals in close proximity, benefiting from an unparalleled learning environment where collegiality, mentorship, and excellence are core values.

Our program is highly resident-driven, with outstanding faculty relationships, with many of us on a first-name basis with our attendings. Mentorship begins on day one, with both peer and faculty mentors guiding residents through research, leadership, and career development.

We have access to remarkable educational resources, from personal portable ultrasound devices to our resident-developed MRI scanning course and the 24-hour Skills Acquisition and Innovation Laboratory (SAIL). Our residents excel in research, regularly earning national awards and presenting at major conferences.

Wellness is central to our culture, supported by department funded initiatives, including a comprehensive wellness curriculum and a yearly retreat. We also have a robust moonlighting program and actively engage in community service, both locally and globally.

Our program and department leadership are dedicated to our success, and they deeply value our feedback. Through monthly lunches with our Chair, Dr. Robert J. Min, and program directors, we engage in open forum discussions, from which many developments within our residency program have stemmed directly from resident input.

We hope you’ll consider joining our Cornell #RadFam, where your residency can be among the most rewarding years of your life.
